The So Small SIPS Demonstration House

The "Building with SIPS" demonstration sponsored by the Structural Insulated Panel Association (SIPA) and the Not So Big Showhouse drew an enthusiastic crowd during the International Builders Show 2005 in Orlando. Experts Mike Morley, Gary Katz and Mike Sloggatt shared their knowledge about the important differences encountered when building with SIPs. They demonstrated weatherization, window and door installation, siding and wiring for a SIPS house.

Structural Insulated Panels are extremely strong, energy efficient panels that are forcing many builders to reevaluate the way they build houses - especially after so many traditional construction methods failed to stand up to the hurricanes.

SIPA is a non-profit trade association that encourages the use and acceptance of SIPs by providing an industry forum for building professionals who are committed to the use of quality structural insulated panels for all segments of the construction industry.
